DSG’s Senate Staff aids the President Pro Tempore in the orderly administration of weekly Senate Meetings. It consists of the President Pro Tempore who conducts all Senate Meetings, the Senate Secretary who takes minutes and maintains attendance at Senate Meetings, the Legislative Aide who works to make sure every Senate Meeting runs smoothly through space setup and equipment management and the Legislative Outreach Coordinator who conducts outreach with external stakeholders and works with the communications team to publicize Senate Meetings. In general, the Senate Staff has the power to retrieve any DSG records, while maintaining those records and keeping a roster of DSG members.
