STUDENT Wellness ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The undergraduate Student Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC) is a DSG affiliate body that serves as a link between the student body and the offices of the Duke Wellness Center. Representing the interests of all students, our goal is to make mental and physical healthcare on campus as accessible as possible.
We work closely with Student Health, CAPS, DuWell, and DukeReach administration to advise on policy and to accomplish a wide range of projects that vary according to campus needs. In the past we have designed and implemented a Wellness Center module for the DukeMobile application, organized and distributed K-Ville Wellness Packages, and helped establish the Oasis Perkins Mindfulness Room.
We are always looking for feedback on student wellness services to guide our conversations with administrators – if you have an experience you’d like to share or any suggestions for how to improve health and wellness at Duke, send us an email at email@example.com. This inbox is monitored by a group of undergraduates and we will always keep identifying information confidential unless given permission.
